My paintings explore the emotional power of color, movement, and texture. Working primarily in acrylic, I build my surfaces through multiple layers using a range of viscosities—from fluid pours to thick sculptural applications—often applied with palette knives and other unconventional tools. The process is both controlled and spontaneous, allowing unexpected interactions between color and form to emerge.
Many of my pieces incorporate dimensional elements that physically extend from the canvas. These raised surfaces catch light differently throughout the day, creating a constantly shifting visual experience. I frequently finish the work with a clear epoxy coating that amplifies depth, saturation, and luminosity.
